At Yön Panel, we manufacture lightweight, hygienic and durable GRP/CTP composite panels for industries ranging from healthcare to automotive, agriculture to construction. Our CTP Panel is a composite material obtained by laminating 1.5 +1.5mm CTP +30 -100mm XPS and 6mm poplar plywood with an automatic machine system and special treatments. Panels made from this composite provide top-class strength and insulation.
GRP stands for Glass Reinforced Plastic, also referred to as FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) in international literature. In Turkey, the same material is commonly known by its Turkish abbreviation, CTP (cam elyaf takviyeli polyester). A GRP/CTP panel is a composite sandwich structure: fiberglass reinforced facings are bonded around an insulation core and a wood-based plywood layer, combining a level of strength, light weight and insulation that none of these materials could offer on their own.
Yön Panel's CTP panel consists of GRP facings on the outer surfaces, with an XPS foam insulation core and poplar plywood layer in between. This construction protects the panel from external factors while delivering reliable thermal insulation for the interior it encloses.
As shared on our homepage, Yön Panel's CTP composite panels combine the following properties:
At Yön Panel, CTP panel manufacturing is carried out with an automatic machine system using a lamination/press process. The production combines 1.5+1.5mm CTP facings, an XPS insulation core ranging from 30mm to 100mm, and 6mm poplar plywood. The insulation thickness can be adjusted between 30mm and 100mm depending on the thermal insulation requirements of the application.
In terms of surface finish, CTP Panel is available in four options: High Pak, High Gloss, Smooth Plain White and Matte. This allows the panel to be matched to both the aesthetic and functional requirements of a given project.
Alongside the standard CTP Panel, Yön Panel's product range includes the following composite panel variants:
A panel variant made from CTP and XPS insulation layers, offering strong thermal insulation.
Manufactured with polyurethane and vinyl coating, combining strength and insulation.
Built with a birch plywood layer, offering a lightweight, high-strength panel variant.
Combines polyurethane and birch plywood layers into a durable panel solution.
Yön Panel's CTP composite panels are used across different sectors depending on their needs:
By combining light weight, strength and insulation in a single material, CTP panel offers a practical alternative to wood, sheet metal or standard composites in terms of installation and transport. Its easy-to-clean surface makes it a preferred choice particularly for applications with high hygiene requirements. At Yön Panel, we tailor the surface finish and insulation thickness of each CTP panel to the specific requirements of your project.
Yön Panel supplies customised GRP/CTP composite panel solutions across sectors as diverse as clinics and hospitals, caravans and refrigerated cases, food production facilities and construction sites. Customer satisfaction and product quality are the foundation of our manufacturing process, which is why we work with each customer to determine the right surface option and insulation thickness for their project.
Our manufacturing takes place at our facility in Karatay, Konya — you can find our facility and contact details on our CTP Panel in Konya page. For details on what affects CTP panel pricing, see our CTP Panel Prices page.
A GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) panel, also known in Turkey as a CTP panel, is a composite material made of fiberglass reinforced plastic facings bonded around an insulation core and a wood-based plywood layer.
Yön Panel's CTP panels are used across automotive (caravans, trailers, refrigerated bodies), healthcare (ambulances, field hospitals), agriculture, construction and trailer manufacturing as a lightweight, hygienic and insulated solution.
CTP Panel is manufactured from 1.5+1.5mm CTP facings, a 30-100mm XPS insulation core and 6mm poplar plywood, laminated with an automatic press system.
The insulation thickness (XPS core) can range from 30mm to 100mm depending on the application. Contact Yön Panel to determine the right size and surface finish for your project.
